Thanks larry if i include "Network=dbmssocn" in the string will it allow me to use the server name if I so choose or will it now restrict me to just tcp/ip.
Using "Network=dbmssocn" will I be able to do both ????:
1. Server Name = Name of Server
2. Server Name = TCP/IP Address
