Hey guys I was connecting quite fine to my database that i setup in MSDE untill oneday I went on the computer and tried to access one of these databases it came up disconnected. I went to connection to try and re-connect the database. When I did the test connection I got this error:

Test connection failed because of an error in initialisation provider. Client unable to establish connection.

I've noticed however that the server network utility now doesn't have named pipes only tcp/ip,shared memory and multiprotocol. Named piped is how the databases were connecting before. In the client network utility it has named pipes and tcp/ip.

Can you explain why it is not connecting now ???
