Doug - Please understand that, despite the commonly used term "Judeo-Christian," the Jewish view of the world is generally pretty different from the Christian. Perhaps the key difference is that Judaism is principally focused on this world, not the next. While some Jews do believe in an afterlife, most would agree that it's what you do with this one that counts.
