>I have a very simple program that sends email using MSMAPI OLE controls. It works fine using Outlook express and Outlook on a network. Our program normally runs on the server. Now one of our clients wants to run it as a service in his environment. They have a Windows NT server with the Terminal Service edition. Is it possible?

The problem will be the security conext of the service; by default, it runs as the System context, so no user information such as a profile would be available. I'd think that an SMTP server would be easier to implement as a service.
