I'm trying to understand how writing the Bible could help understand the universe. As for historical accuracy, there are many instances where the noted archeologists and historians said the bible was just a storybook. Then someone unearths something like the Dead Sea scrolls. There's just too much evidence that supports the Bible as a divine document.
