Care to actually answer this question from my last post, or will you just continue to duck it:

You:
The only thing the Germans feared more than our economic might was the Russians indifference to taking prisoners. The Japanese knew the minute we won at Midway that their expansion was over and they went on the defensive. Their goal all along was to get as close to the west coast as they coud and force a negotiated truce because they knew they could not beat us. Head to the library and get your facts right.

My Response:
Now you are reduced to just making things up. Where in the hell have I ever posted anything about this?

>Well, I guess since you aren't going to read a history book, why don't you watch the history channel and listen to the recounts of German soldiers toward the end of the war. Or better let's rewrite history and tell how the war was won by holding hands and singing campfire songs. It was won by our greenbacks, influx of mena nd material and being able to rally the allies and lead them, not pull them, lead them.

Yeah, after Churchill did all the leading. Who do you think stood up against the Nazis when the chips were down, and I mean way down. The US? Think again. This was a country with its back up against the ball, and they stood tall. We were dragged into a war kicking and screaming. The Lend-Lease Act was not even passed until March of 1941, 18 months after the war started (September 1, 1939 by the way).

> And Canada was under no threat of invasion unless the Japanese intended on landing here as well, however unless some unforseen force (aliens maybe) intervened Europe was lost.

Canada still had the balls to fight.

> Britain might have been able to hold off invasion, but would have given into subversion over the long haul because Germany would have cut their supply lines, they almost did if you recall.

I seriously disagree. They held off the Nazis when they were there strongest and Great Britain its weakest. We didn't break Enigma, Great Britain did. And with Germany fighting two fronts, Great Britain would have survived, on Churchill's determination alone.

> Why don't you twist your locks instead of my words. It is obvious you will disagree with me not matter what sources I quote, many of which were actually in the war, so I will bow to the Gore theory and you win by attrition, thank goodness that GWB has more staying power than me or we'd all be singing left of center.

How Gore got into this, I have no idea, but then again, you pull facts out of thin air. What words of yours have I twisted? I already documented above where you made something up, attributing it to me. You want to supply some faces, it would be a welcome surprise from you.

> I proves the old rumor theory, that your version of the same story is alot different than mine when it comes back around. You guys can continue to rewrite history your way if you want and modify the constitution so we can become a controlled state, I'll just sit here in my bunker surround by my nazi friends and read your tripe and respond accordingly.

If you are referring to gun control, I am on record in this forum as being against it. Get your facts straight.
