Yeah pretty much. Take us out of the equation and watch things go to the crapper. The reason we have never faced an enemy on our ground is because they cannot invade an armed population. It was tried in 1776 and 1812 and didn't work then either.

My answer was we didn't sit out nothing. Same crap happens today: they don't want us, they want us, they don't want us but will take our money, then we are evil for interfering in the name of human rights. I say let them help themselves. Wasn't for us entering no matter how or when we did ( and yes we were dragged ), the books would be different. You also need you research some covert operations history, your hero Churchill was sweating bricks until we came in. And yes, lend lease wasn't official until 1941 but we were sending things via Canada long before that and we had sent flight crew overthere to train and pilot those planes and ships. We also had pilots in China and many a boy left home to enlist in the Canadian and British armies. Pansies my rear. Are you ex-military or a consciencious objector? Bottom line you will not change my perception or history. You guys can go back to patting each other back now and bending history to favor everyone so nobody gets his little feelings hurt. You are looking to escalate this pointless arguement now and I frankly have exhausted my time on this subject. I'll wait for the next world crisis and see who comes begging at our door, then maybe you can volunteer to help them and show the rest of us where we went wrong.
