When my younger brother was 8, he brought our brand new vinyl 78 "Unbreakable" recording of "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer", sung by Gene Autry, to school. The albulm stated the record was unbreakable, in large letters. He gathered some of the kids in his class around him. "Look at this unbreakable record" he exclaimed, throwing the record edge first on to the playground pavement. The record shattered into many small pieces. Gee, that could have been a collectors item. I never got to hear that record played.
