The simple fact is, I never wrote anything about German fears or Japanese strategy. You are telling me to get my facts straight about a war from over 50 years ago, when all I ask is that you get your facts straight today. I would hold you to a higher standard, but its pointless.

>Yeah pretty much. Take us out of the equation and watch things go to the crapper. The reason we have never faced an enemy on our ground is because they cannot invade an armed population. It was tried in 1776 and 1812 and didn't work then either.

Really? In your revisionist world, we took the eastern part of Germany, Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe from the Nazis. The Soviet Union did not fight, Great Britain and Canada were not there at D-Day, and there was no French Resistence.

>My answer was we didn't sit out nothing. Same crap happens today: they don't want us, they want us, they don't want us but will take our money, then we are evil for interfering in the name of human rights. I say let them help themselves. Wasn't for us entering no matter how or when we did ( and yes we were dragged ), the books would be different. You also need you research some covert operations history, your hero Churchill was sweating bricks until we came in. And yes, lend lease wasn't official until 1941 but we were sending things via Canada long before that and we had sent flight crew overthere to train and pilot those planes and ships. We also had pilots in China and many a boy left home to enlist in the Canadian and British armies. Pansies my rear. Are you ex-military or a consciencious objector? Why don't you go piss on Arlington Cemetary while you are at it? Are you a transplant or just an ex-patriot?

Great, your cracking on Churchill because he was scared? All men with any sanity are scared when faced with war. It's the ones that overcome fear that I respect. And he could have sweated bricks all he wanted, because when the bell rang, he stood up to the Nazis. I don't care if he pissed his pants every morning, noon, and night. His country and Canada were actually fighting. Great, we were sending stuff. How totally heroic. We sent stuff to Saddam Hussein too in the 1980s. I guess that makes us heroes too, huh?

I'll never piss on Arlington Cemetary, burn our flag, or betray my country. But I'll always challenge revisionists like you.

>Who knows who is for what? I haven't even seen a gun control blurb since two days ago.

Then don't make accusations when you don't have your facts.

>Bottom line you will not change my perception or history. You guys can go back to patting each other back now and bending history to favor everyone so nobody gets his little feelings hurt. You are looking to escalate this pointless arguement now and I frankly have exhausted my time on this subject. I'll wait for the next world crisis and see who comes begging at our door, then maybe you can volunteer to help them and show the rest of us where we went wrong. Somehow I doubt you'll leave the city limits.

I'll agree with you there. This is pointless.
