Hi everybody,

Recently we received a virus from one of our friends. Then we received a message from the same friend with the following instructios:
Dear all!
13.12.00 you have reseived a message from kmichael@comset.net that probably
includes a virus( which opposes you to start *.exe files ). To delete it use
anti-virus program or:
1. Delete "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command" from reg (using
"regedit").
2. Delete file "files32.vxd" from WINDOWS\ directory

I didn't find a file 'files32.vxd". I'm not sure, do I need to delete registry entry or not. COuld you please check, if you have it and what's in it. May be I don't need to delete it (my husband killed virus almost immediately).

Thanks in advance.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
