Offline views are a very sweet feature. You will need to be careful, however. If your salespeople start adding records, then you will have a problem with primary keys. There are several ways to handle this. When working offline, you can reserve a set of primary keys in advance and use them, so that when the view was brought back online, RI is still intact. Another stategy is to use dummy keys and then have a procedure for converting them to real ones.

Read the help on how to take a view on and off line. There really is no discussion on the primary key issue, so you'll need to work that out according to you specific needs.
