Thanks for the reply. I still need a little help. I created a simple app. The tables are in a network directory along with the executible. The forms and programs are located in a dev directory. Every thing works fine. I then copied the executible to another users directory along with the runtime files since they don't have foxpro. I didn't copy the tables. The app works fine until I try to append a new record. It then says it can't find the cursor. I then went back to the original database and done creatoffline("view1") and then copied the three file generated in to the remote directory. I still get the same error. Any clues?
