Marc,

Did you misspell my name? Horrors! (Ya can call me anything you like, just don't call me late for dinner).

Granny awards? I don't qualify, I'm grand*father*. Ya gotta be a grandmother for those. :-) Now I've been called a Mother before, but that's a different story and dangerous ground.

Nope, no Rule #3 for us. Seriously, I have no qualms about engaging in spirited, even passionate, debate over an issue. However, there must be a foundation of respect. Without it, debate turns into a shouting match. I also think that we sometimes can take these things (and ourselves) far too seriously. When this happens, people get "me-centric", and forget to be considerate of others. I mean there are a few more important issues going on out in the world, aren't there?

I consider you and all of the folks here at the UT an invaluable resource. Thanks for sharing your opinions.

And finally, since some of (yours truly included) sometimes seem bent on turning this into the "Laffs-R-Us", a little culture:

"I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." - Voltaire

Regards,

George
