>I have a LAN-based VFP multi-user VFP application which has been experiencing client freeze-ups quite a lot lately. The LAN is NT4 SP6, and most of the clients are W98 2nd Edition Pentium III 600's that are freezing up. They freeze during various table operations in the VFP app, which is mostly all these people are doing.

You need to determine when they 'freeze'. Are they doing large batch operations? Or are they doing small updates?

Also, you say lately - have you changed anything that might cause the freeze-ups? Are you running maintenance on the tables (PACK, REINDEX, Etc.) Is the program running from the local machine or from the server - if from the server, can you move it to the local machine?

How many people are running this app? Is your network infrastructure adequate to handle the load? Have you looked at the Hubs for problems - looked at the file server to see if it needs more power - RAM/CPU,Etc?
