I pulled over the foxhelp.dbf from fpd2.6 and it has Topic C30, Details Memo, and Class C20 (ie General, Function,Etc) I used to know what they meant. The Help narrative there is (however) not applicable to VFP6. It seems to me that The Flash people (CodeBook) had a working example that I started with. Topics are nice, but I really need the ability to open an index to Help from the main App Menu. and then train the users to use that. Also, it's more straightforward to implement and update. I sense that MS is giving conflicting signals on this Help issue (changing something that works and messing it up).
On that other subject (shift & menu for screen fonts) it's frustrating at times trying to nail down things in the GUI environment. Everything is in bits & pieces. However, I've gotten a lot of information from searching threads in UT and also "talking" with developers such as yourself. Bill
