I'm trying to figure out how to use the Adobe Acrobat Control for ActiveX in a VFP form. I'm trying to use the free Reader control (not the full Acrobat product). The documentation on the Adobe's site says that it can be done, and then goes on to say that they do not provide documentation for the control. Yippee.

When I had the full Adobe product on my machine, it worked just fine. Then I realized I was using the full product, which isn't distributable. I've spent hours on the Adobe site, and I'm just not grasping what is probably the blatantly obvious.

When I drop the control on my form (or try to subclass it), I get the error: "OLE error code 0X80029c4a: Error loading type library/DLL." Do I need the $100 Integration Key License? Has anyone successfully accomplished this?

While I don't mind calling the Acrobat Reader and having it pop up in a separate window (I actually prefer this, so the users can read the report and compare it back to the information shown in the application window), the powers-that-be want it in the form . With all the wizards we have here, somebody's probably solved this. *ANY* ideas?

THANKS!
