Hi Anna.
I've reading some of the response for this thread and it seem to me that your app. is very "simple" with small data tables and thus, not "large" enough to cause any significant delay.

Knowing this, I must ask a few question, how much faster does you client want your app. to come up? Maybe your app is not the problem; may it's his machine.

If you app. was "large" I would maybe understand, but your app. doesn't sound large enough to slow anything down.
