I am going to develop an applicaction use SQL SERVER Backend that was intended to bemulti-company or with different data sets,How do I better way?

1. Design a company ID field in the table of the database and then filter on all
transactions based on that ID ?
2.Can DQL SERVER separate location collectd data for eacs company?
3. I will like that experienced people give me advise about it. Has anyone
worked with this ?
