I hear your position loud and clear and I have no argument with it at all. You are right this and any other place where a number of people know each other and hang out together appears to be a clique to a new comer. Especially when folks speak for each other.

I would only point out that in your observations there is a lot of reading between the lines going on on your part. I am not saying that your perception is right or worng, only that it does require some reading between the lines. At no point did Craig explicitly say, "I know all and you should follow my advice because it is from me and for no other reason." although his lack of explanation *may* be seen as *implying* that.

I don't think you deserved the heat you got on this. I, for one, appreciate your feedback about how this place is seen by new comers. it is important that we welcome new people and not intimidate them.
