So do I, and hey! did you programmed Z80 assembler, too? That's funny. I did it for many years. Actually, I started hand-assembling for the Sinclair 1000, and I ended doing it professionally for MSX machines (I worked for an MSX computers producer).

It's because of that I don't think that is better to avoid another
problematic language/eenvironment. About the -eventual- MS split, don't worry. In any case, it would not affect us as programmers. And it won't hurt MS neither. Indeed, most probably, they could be stronger in the long run.

Most surely you'll get the Visual Studio .Net beta, that has all the stuff. I don't know about any separated beta. Given that, you can see that VB.Net is -almost- a decent language now. 8-)
