Definitely. In fact, I just added this functionality to the Database Explorer; it now automatically adds the directory the DBC is in to the path so other DBCs in the same directory will automatically be handled. Of course, this assumes they're all in the same directory; if not, you'd have to set the path manually as you're doing now.
