The following is being done in ASP environment using ADO and Visual Foxpro ODBC Driver so SET DATE cannot be used as a solution to this problem.

I am querying a Foxpro 2.6 table using SELECT CTOD(Field) FROM table. The CTOD function is currently interpreting character dates as yy/mm/dd, however the character field in the table is in dd/mm/yy format. I need to know if it is possible, over VFP ODBC, to make CTOD interpret character dates as dd/mm/yy?

The regional setting of both the server and client is set to Australian.
I cannot modify the table structure as it is used by an older application that I know little about.

Desperately needing an answer to this one. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance

George
