My clients and potential clients are dry cleaners. They all have computers at the front counter running my POS software (written all in VFP6.0 might I add).

They would scan the racks (rack locations are barcoded) and the ticket number to keep track of where on the rack the garments are kept for their customers. I need and want to add a barcode scanning system to my existing POS application to accomplish this.

They will not be walking around with the scanner. The scanner will remain in one location near the rack. The scanner will be attached to the computer via "long" cable.
