Nadya,

Use the "Start Group on new page when less than xxxxxx". The number you should enter is the number of inches. So if your group header takes up 1/4 inch and the detail band is also 1/4 inch, entering .5 will start the group on the next page/column if there isn't enough room to print at least one detail line.
