>>Hello all

>>I know what these files are and I know what they do

>This shouldn't happen if you build the setup correctly and your machines are configured properly. Note that the hard paths for such files are not stored, only "WinSysDir" is used for files like these. Two problems I can think of:

>2) If you go to page 6 of the vfp setup wizard, look at the OCX, for example. Does it say WinSysDir as the target and is Activex checked?

1)Disk Images directory <- a folder where the setup files will be created
Yes it is a new empty directory created on my Win98 PC

2)I did say that the gif89.dll should go into the winsys dir ( I have it in the distrabutition dir but I have it registered in the winnt\system32 dir

the error is after I hit finish, during the "build" process
I think it is looking for these files to add to the setup files, but it is carring over the settings from my WinNT pc

The directory that I am selecting for the distrabutition files is not the project directory but the directory, needed files and *.exe to run the final program
and I am selecting in step 2
foxpro runtime, microsoft graph 8.0 and active x

The mscomctrl.ocx is not listed in step 6 and no files say winsys dir

I think the exe is storing info from the project that has system info on it?? Maybe??
