I can vouch for the same type of numbers in the Los Angeles area. I haven't looked in a while, but I was looking about 6 months ago and saw these type of numbers. As a matter of fact, I watched VFP go down, during the month or 2 I was looking, from about 75 posts to 50 posts on DICE. Just for the heck of it I checked the other nite and DICE was down to 10 for VFP. Of those 10 only 1-2 was for a VFP developer, the others had VFP listed as a plus.

I know in the LA area, Oracle DBA or Java skills will get you a job the same day you start to look.

>From these results I would say that the Boston area does not favor MS-related development tools although Visual Basic and Visual C++ still remain quite popular. By far the most popular combination appears to be Oracle with Java or C++. I was also suprised to see SQL Server significantly below Sybase.
