>Crescent Software has an ActiveX package called "Internet ToolPak". It has FTP, HTTP, Internet Mail, Telenet, etc. I've been able to get the FTP control to work, but haven't played with the others. As for their support, it's the usual, "We only support VB" nonsense. In order to get a response from them, I had to translate the problem into VB, and when I got the same result, then they were helpful.

hmmm... I sent the vendor of this one I'm looking at an email asking them specifically if VFP is supported. But here's the full quote of what their website states in regards to environments supported:

"Each control is delivered as a VBX (Visual Basic Control) *as well as* 16-bit and 32-bit ActiveX (OLE Custom Control) components. This means that any Windows development environment that supports ActiveX controls (such as Visual C++, Delphi, Access, PowerBuilder, etc.) can use Socket Tools."

See why I say it sounds too good to be true? Will let you know what the vendor's respone is when I get it.
