Hi All,
I am runing SQL Server 7.0 on Win2000 professional. In the the SQL Server Enterprise manager when designing a table the "Allow Nulls" column cannot be checked for BIT field types. This prevents me from adding a BIT field to an existing table as the table cannot be saved because it contains nulls in the new BIT field.

When running SQL Server Enterprise manager on a machine running Win2000 Server edition with sql server 7.0 if I enter design mode on the same table in the same database I can set the "allow nulls" column.

Does anyone now how to overcome this situation?
