I have the same resource problem on my development computer. Running programs like, Outlook, VFP and different web browsers (IE4, NS4.75, Mozilla) and whatever I need now and then (Word97, etc). I usually run out of resources 2 times a day. I found out (Using TaskInfo 2000 by www.iarsn.com) that programs like Word opens up a lot of small background stuff that isn't released when Word itself is closed. Finally a friend of mine suggested using MemTurbo (www.memturbo.com). Very nice handy shareware tool (30days trial). It will recover RAM and can be set to auto-recover when the RAM level gets low. I have used this for the last week and only had one resource problem since.
