Well, here we go again with these silly OCX's. I upgraded to VFP 5.0a and now am unable to access my mscomm32 ActiveX controls properly. All of a sudden I get an error when trying to open or close the comm port.

I have tried re-registering the ocx. While it registered fine the applications still don't work.

I have also checked for multiple copies of this. There is only one in the c:\windows\system directory (which is the one I tried to reregister).

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate the help. I have tried the archives and so far cannot find the solution.
