I agree that recent HP Laserjet drivers can cause lots of problems for VFP. My system became much more stable when we set up all of the client machines to use the old Laserjet III drivers. My development machine does have an HP printer on it, an old HP 550C ink-jet printer. I was considering getting a newer printer (probably the Brother HL-1240 laser). Perhaps I will speed up that decision and see if it helps.

Do you think that if I unplugged the printer and ran that way for a while that this would confirm or deny the HP 550C driver as a source of the problem?
