No problem Evan. On my last vacation I got a corporate rate every where I stayed and even at some motels managed to negotiate a room rate for the night. I read in USA Today where people should try to negotiate while on the road. They said you would be surprised at how much lower a rate will be if you try this. It may not work with a DEVCON type event, but if you are traveling and need to stay at some place in the middle of nowhere, say any place in Kansas :), tell them that the rate is too high and is that they best they can do.
