Ransome, are you using the setup wizard to attach an icon to the exe? I find that whenever I do that, the .inf file gets set up badly. For some reason, it creates the icon line as referring to disk 0 instead of disk 1. Then if I don't go into the .inf file and correct it manually, I get oddball error messages when I try to install.

I haven't done that in a long time, so I'm not sure if it was an error 279, but it was some untraceable setup error number in the setup.
