Hmmm. Yes, it is a niche. This niche includes desktop apps, client server, middle tier components with premium data handling capacity, and some arcane little academic exersize called OOP for the most part. Not too much of these items going on nowadays. Such a shame! But just suppose some idiotic users out there want tools to address any of these nichey little needs rang up MS and asked "Sorry to bother you but I was wondering what all kinds of tools have you innovators come up with that would apply well to my little niche? Could you please tell me about 'em, I'm all ears."

What do you think MS would say?
