Hi, I almost put his under "How do you charge..." but figured it was a significantly different question. Although I too would normally bill travel time as well as expenses for working on-site, recently I'm finding that most of the opportunities available don't/won't cover it. They want a 40hr/week, on-site VFP developer but they don't want to pay more than $25-35/hr on a 6-12 month contract. After expenses, taxes, insurance, medical, etc. that's almost peanuts. How do you convince someone that you can develop off-site when they have it in their mind that you need to be there?
