>>>It used to be that I had a full beard. However, when it went gray it got too thin and didn't look that good any more. So about a year ago, I went to the goatee. One of the reasons I had a beard in the first place was that I started shaving at the age of 12 and my skin was too sensitive to take it every day. So I was shaving around twice a week. For Christmas, however, my wife got me an electric razor and it's been so comfortable that I now shave every day (and my sking doesn't get irritated).

>>Well, it's not *just* laziness I guess. I tried shaving everything off about 4-5 months ago, but I couldn't stand it (sensitive skin, too). Didn't matter if I used an electric razor or a blade, it just bugged the hell out of me. Gave up after 10 days, because if I had any place I had to go in the evening, that meant I had to shave twice that day. I get 5 o'clock shadow at about noon.

>Ah, youth! My "5 o'clock shadow" is white and therefore not that apparent. Even so, the electric (a Norelco) takes far less time than shaving with a blade did.

Well, I wouldn't exactly call it "youth" <bg>. Mine is fading pretty rapidly, but amazingly enough it all starts out dark enough. Turns lighter with length, not so much age. Seems to turn white over night! And you're right, an electric (Braun) is so much faster than a blade (less dangerous, too!).
