Thanks for the prompt reply.

The problem, I believe was a corrupted .FRX or .FRT file. I created another report form and copied the controls and
text from the old report form to the new one.

However, I still had to use a Report variable ("nAsubt") to sum the nAmount field and then use the
TRANSFORM() function for the expression in the control. The Report Expression dialog box is very
confusing to me because it has both an expression entry box and a format entry box. I found NO way
to sum the nAmount field and format it also.

By the way, I wanted it formated for US currency.

Also in my original message I tried to maek two colums of numbers for my example, but when I
sent it, they all ran together. Another Frustration.

I still don't like the VFP report writer.

Where is Tehuacan?
Sounds like Mexico, but you have a US flag next to your name.
How do I get a US Flag?

Thanks again.
