And when I was looking for a PC database, I gravitated to the DOS Foxpro 2.0 (that valiantly tried to emulate the Mac desktop on a PC screen, including desk accessories ). If you like to cheer for the underdog - if you want to live just outside of the crowd. Foxpro attracts a certain type of programmer - one that wants to get the job done at a minimal time and cost. It's as simple as that. If someone had to pay out of their own pocket to develop a medium sized system, there is NO substitute. NO SUBSTITUTE. Unfortunately, there is little glory or reward for prople who try to save time and money in government or large companies.

Hi Georgaras,
I'm in total agreement with you. Would it be alright if I quoted you on the
http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~WillMicrosoftMarketVFP_Comments page? And while we're on the subject, how about letting me add your name to the Yes list on
http://www.ideaxchg.com/ix07/bymda/mdav0016.htm. I also had you in mind when I made this reply to Gary Wynne:
