My perception must be eastern... My understanding is that the replacement of biblical Sabbath with the "Christian Sabbath" on Sunday, happened for political and economical reasons; it was a process that lasted hundreds of years, and I know too little to debate the source arguments (Old / New Testament, paganism, ??), so I’ll leave it here…
