Well the program had a large amount of files open.

At first under Novell, I just increased the config.sys files= to 180, and that worked fine. When we strated using even more file handles, we started getting an error. We had to reduce the config.sys files= to 60 and increase the FILE HANDLES= option in net.cfg to 120. (our tip came from Pat Adams error file).

When we moved to the windows 2000 server, there were some stations we want to leave as DOS stations. We were able to boot into tcp/ip conection using the MS DOS client for windows 2000.

Since there is no net.cfg under tcp/ip, I tried to get the program to work by increasing the files= under config.NT to 180 or 240 and got an error
system resource exhausted.

Thanks again for your help and time
