Surely we should expect M$S to make the product more robust than that?

Martin,

I haven't had any problems with exception errors generated by simple coding errors. I have had them when I've improperly done something incorrectly with a ActiveX control. That I pass off to my own stupidity. However, I will more than gladly cede the argument that they are, in general, not as well documented as they should be. I do see an enormous upside to them however, and hasten to point out that it's still a relatively new technology. In balance, I think I can live with it. If you're problems are not from dealing with these controls, then I'm sure some one will post information on the video drivers. I think you might be able to find something by searching the Microsoft Knowledge base.

HTH,
