James,

>>Help me out guys! I'm in the market for a new home computer. (My 350 is just too slow.) I've pretty much got heart set on a Dell, but I'm struggling over which model to buy. The Dimension 8100 looks pretty good, but the Presicision 320 sports the new Pentium IV processor at 1.5 Ghz. I'm in a real quandry here. Anybody got any advice?

>Yeah, I read it. I'm still not convinced. Larry Miller and others steered me toward buying a notebook. I'll probably go with a Dell Inspiron 8500.
I'd suggest using a notebook - as long as you can get all the features you want/need. In my case I use two monitors and find it very helpful with debugging issues. In my case I'd see if I could put a dual/multi monitor card in the docking station.
