My DSL provider(Covad.net) requires us to install something called the PPPoe Client. I don't know what it does, but it's very unreliable. Sometimes it can take several attempts to get connected or I may have try later in the day. They tell me its a problem with Win2000 and they are working on update. Thats was several weeks and still no updates.
