I completely forgot about PPPoe. My provider was Northpoint (yup, the folks that just went under and sold to AT&T). I had a static IP address so I didn't have to worry about any of the other stuff.
Are you able to test out your MAPI stuff with a dialup just to see if the client is at fault?
