My initial reaction to the points program was that it is a nice idea, but since I don't mind paying a premier subscription, I certainly have better things to do with my time.

HOWEVER, after reading your message about how it can help with searches (which I do quite often), I'm sold.

Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't mind getting 3 months for free, but that didn't make it worthwhile to bother with it. Enhancing the speed and effectiveness of my searches, otoh IS quite a bonus.

Count me in!
