Somthing like

SET MESSAGE TO 'Hello'

Displays "Hello" in the foxpro status bar

>I'am new to this place (I'am a old dos foxpro 2.00 programmer) and i am trying to build my "main form" because i do not want to use the _screen as my startup window so i build a form with a statusbar with 5 panels, and in the first one i'am trying to write the message from the menu items "message". Any ideas ??
