You can't access the pixel run directly from the VFP image control, however there are ActiveX (OCX) controls that allow you to do this. Try the LeadTools OCX control (www.leadtools.com) as it has support for doing this. The control isn't the cheapest but it certainly is the most feature rich and offers support for a vast number of raster formats.

The solutions open to you using the LeadTools OCX are using rectangle or freehand selection invoke the Copy method and paste it into another instance of the control, as an alternative you could just crop the image.
