If I could toss ActiveX controls in the trash I would do it in a heart beat. For some unknown reason I am once again getting the error:
0x800a: Unknown OLE Status Code.

I have uninstalled the ActiveX object through the VFP 5.0a setup, restarted the computer, and then installed the ActiveX controls again. No good.

I have uninstalled the ActiveX controls and then deleted them from the c:\windows\system directory (the ONLY place they exist), and the reinstalled. No good.

I have searched the registry for mscomm32 (the control giving me problems at the moment) and all references point to the correct directory. No good.

I have deleted the control from the form and tried to add it again. No good.

I have removed the control from the ActiveX controls toolbar and then re-added. No good.

I have copied the ocx's directly from the VFP CD-ROM into the \windows\system\directory. No good.

And yes, after trying all of these I went back and recompiled everything.

I am at a loss. If anyone has any ideas please toss them out.
