I would advise consulting with an attorney, even in the simplest case. "No-hire" clauses are potential landmines, because each state interprets one's "right to work" differently and you'll want something tailored to your state that will hold up if violated.
BTW, I have seen more "no hire" clauses shot down in disputes than upheld. Tred this water carefully.
>Our company is hiring an outside consultant. We want to have an agreement in place that prevents the consultant's company from hiring any of our employees, as well as preventing our company from hiring any of the consultant's company employees. We don't want a long drawn out consulting agreement, just the no-hire each other employees agreement. Does anybody have a boilerplate agreement like this, or does anybody know if there is a specific name for this type of agreement?
