First, is the file missing? If so you can restore from a backup (be sure the DBF is restored too so they match). If it on the disk then it is corrupt and you can fix it with one of the utilities available. Do a search on "Fix" and look for FixFox and FPTFix. There is another tool dSalvage which you can buy - check the Hallogram site.
